Site Use, Parking, Launching & Prices

 Short stay parking includes: Toilet block, shower & changing facilities, kit wash & crew area use. 

No charges for PDC Diving customers - Dive groups ensure minimum air tokens purchased before using facilities. Customers on courses & visiting the shop gratis day parking. 
 

Long stay storage includes: Unlimited slipway use for boat launch & recovery,  no charges for car parking (1 car per boat stored) & no charges for trailer storage.

We offer special group rates for canoe clubs using PDC as a base for expeditions. Please give us a call to discuss more details about how we can help.

Camping & Caravans - There are two great camp sites within 1 mile from Puffin Dive Centre with all the usual camping facilities including electric hook-up and dedicated pitches. Please visit these facilities first and check out their options. PDC will not always take campervans on site depending on other accommodation in use and car park capacity. Please look at:

Terms & Conditions:

The above prices are subject to change without notice. The prices shown are based on services provided to divers and diving related activities and whilst generally available to members of the public the exclusive availability is at the discretion of the PDC management.

All payments are in advance of the service and should be made during working hours at the PDC shop at the main Port Gallanach site.

* Small Personal Craft refers to Paddle boards, kayaks, canoes inflatable or rigid. The cost of car parking covers the cot for launch & recovery for a maximum of two crafts per vehicle parking. Customers not to park will instead pay for launch & recovery costs per unit. 

PDC Customers using our Air filling services get a benefit on Launching, Parking (Vehicle & Trailers) & other facilities. This benefit is conditional on the quantity used being consistent with the service benefited from. For example, the occasional air fill purchased does not constitute the free use of PDC services or facilities.

The "Fair" policy is intended to benefit genuine consumers of PDC services - the net value of the site services taken by the PDC Customer must be at least similar to the approximate value of site services paid for. ie gas & air. It stands to reason that the launch (& recovery), parking of vehicle & trailer, use of facilities - pier, toilets, slipway and pontoon (when in operation) and other services provided have to be provided for by paid for services elsewhere.

** To ensure that your use of the air & gas services is fair and reasonable Diving groups should buy air tokens that match number in dive group x days on site OR pay for the launch & parking prior to use. The purchase of a couple of fills in exchange for the launch & recovery and parking of several cars is not equitable. If you do not use air or gas (rebreathers) or bring all you need from home, please ensure you pay for the services used on each occasion.

Part use of facilities or early departures do not qualify for a refund.
